Overview

Spread over charming river valleys and breathtaking peaks, Himanchal Pradesh is one of the most beautiful state in India, which is the home of various stunning and popular hill stations. We are offering the well-designed itinerary ‘Himachal Fantasy Tour’, which is 11 nights and 12 days. We have tried to cover some of the popular places in Himachal Pradesh, during the tour, you will visit the places such as of Manali, Shimla and Dharamshala, along with one of the historical, yet modern, capital of India Delhi as well as India’s best planned city Chandigarh and Amritsar. The highlights of the itinerary are adventure activities at the popular points like Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley and Kufri.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Arrive at Delhi you meet and greet by our representative, proceed to the hotel, check in at the hotel. Post lunch, proceed for sightseeing of Delhi. Red Fort, Parliament House as per the time limitations, Evening free for leisure.

Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi -Amritsar (By Train)

Post breakfast, transferred to the railway station to go on-board a train for Amritsar. Amritsar is one of the most impotent city of Punjab, which is the administrative headquarters of the Amritsar district in the state of Punjab, it was established in 1574 by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh guru. On arrive in Amritsar, transfer to the hotel check in to the hotel. Post lunch, proceed to visit the some of the major attractions such as Golden Temple, the one of the most renowned Sikh pilgrim, Jallianwala Bagh and the local markets. Rest day is free at leisure or you can explore the vivid colors of the city while roaming around the nearby places.

Day 3: Amritsar - Dharamshala (By road 195 kms/06 hrs)


After breakfast, transfer to for Dharamshala by road. A small picturesque hill station with a large population of Tibetan refugees along with the headquarters of Central Tibetan Administration and Dalai Lama's residence in McLeodGanj are in Dharamshala. Rest day is free at leisure.

Day 4: Dharamshala Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel, day is free at leisure. In the afternoon, proceed half-day sightseeing in Dharamshala including Dal Lake-placed surrounded by lush greenery nearby lake also has a Shiva temple also visit St. John’s Church- an Anglican church built in 1852, it is devoted to John The Baptist along with that visit Namgyal monastery where his holiness Dalai Lama resides. Evening is free for visiting the local market of Dharamshala that has shops selling Tibetan carpets, wooden items, Handicrafts many other items. Evening free for leisure.

Day 5: Dharamshala - Manali (By road 240 kms /06hrs)

After early morning breakfast proceed to Manali by road. enjoy the stunning surroundings while traveling. Manali. Which is about 270 kilometres away from Shimla. Located at an altitude of 2,050 meter in the Beas River Valley, near the northern end of the Kullu Valley, Manali is one of the most popular hill stations in India and is known for its snow clad mountains and impenetrable pinewood forest. On arrival check into your hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6: Manali Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for half day sightseeing, the highlight of the sightseeing is Hadimba Devi Temple and the Tibetan Monastery before proceeding to Vashisht village, just outside Manali, across the river Beas, known for its hot Sulphur springs whose water is said to have curative properties and Manu temple. Evening is free at leisure or explore the nearby places at your own.

Day 7: Manali - Rohtang Pass – Manali (Excursion Trip)


After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Rohtang Pass, located 51 km from Manali, 3978 meters high, which for centuries was the gateway to the trading routes that led to Lahaul, Ladakh and Central Asia. From the crest of the pass, one can take in a sweeping panorama of Mountain Ranges, Pinnacles, precipitous cliffs, ridges, huge glaciers, moraine and deep ravines. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 8: Manali - Kullu - Shimla (By road 249 kms/06hrs)

Post breakfast, proceed to Shimla by road, Shimla - the land of pine scented hills, beautiful peaks, crisp winter skies, fragrant cedar forests, romantic mists and golden hillsides. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening is free at your own, explore the nearby places on your own such as visiting the Mall, the Ridge and so on.

Day 9: Shimla Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel.Morning is free for leisure. Post lunch, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Shimla, including the ancient Jakhu temple, devoted to Lord Hanuman, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and Sankat Mochan Temple. Evening is free at leisure or just walk up to the Mall road, which is the main shopping hub of Shimla and by some souvenirs. Along with the Mall road, The Ridge is the major center of activity. Evening free for leisure at Mall Road.

Overnight in Shimla.

Day 10: Shimla - Chail - Kufri - Naldehra - Shimla (Excursion Trip) 

After breakfast proceed for the full day trip to Chail-an exotic hill town famous for its beauty, Kufri-here you can try your hand in adventure activities like tobogganing, skiing, hiking and Naldehra- explore the popular golf courses here. Back to hotel in evening. Evening free for leisure. 

Overnight in Shimla.

Day 11: Shimla - Chandigarh (By road 129 kms/03hrs)

Post breakfast proceed for Chandigarh by road. Chandigarh is a union territory and also the capital of Punjab and Haryana State, it is also known as the best planned city of India. In a heritage and historical country, Chandigarh is a new city and in the rather chaotic ambience of the Indian spaces, this city is spacious and orderly. Once you reach Chandigarh. Transfer to your hotel. Post lunch, proceed for city sightseeing you are going to cover the major attractions such as Rock Garden and Rose Garden along with that just enjoy the boat riding on Sukhna Lake. Overnight in Chandigarh.

Day 12: Chandigarh - Delhi (By road 238 kms/04hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning is free at leisure, enjoy the lovely weather of the city. After lunch, begin your road journey for Delhi. After reaching Delhi, get transported to the airport or the railway station for your onward destination journey.
